Event Validation Tables
Events can incorporate a wide variety of employment, performance and general events, most often events which do not fall under skills, training or property.
Go to Navigator > HR > HR Validation Tables > Event Type and Events
Event tables are a two-level entry:
Event Type
Event Type is the umbrella classification of events, for example a remuneration event might contain several different events related to remuneration.
The HR report Employee Events Listing can be filtered on this value.
Event types can be edited by double clicking on the existing event type and making changes.
To create a new Event Type, click on the Add New button and then enter a new Event Type description.
Events
Events are the sub-class of Event Types.
For example, a remuneration event type might be linked to specific events such as salary review, package and pay rise.
The HR report Employee Event Listing can be filtered on this value.
To create a new Event, click on the Add New button and then enter a new Event.
